Repair Services - Terms of Service
When sending your Xbox 360 in for repair, the following "plain english" terms apply.
Please also see our 90 Day Warranty for additional terms.
- Our 90 day warranty begins on the day the repair is completed, and covers all parts
and labor for the problem(s) that we repaired. New problems that were not
reported or otherwise identified at time of repair are not covered. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs in sending the
item back for warranty service, but 360 Pros will pay Ground shipping and handling
costs incurred in returning the console to customers located in the continental
United States.
- Please send the Xbox 360 console only, without any accessories, cables, manuals,
original packaging, or games. 360 Pros cannot be held liable for these items if they are
lost or damaged. All packaging material will also be discarded.
- Once we receive and diagnose your Xbox 360, you will receive a repair estimate via
e-mail and/or telephone. If you do not indicate whether or not we should return
or repair the system within 90 days, we may donate or otherwise dispose of the broken
console after 90 days.
- Return shipping, plus a small handling charge, will be added to the repair price
of each repair order. Sorry, we are unable to use shipping labels you
provide, as this sometimes causes confusion when our staff processes the order.
- In the rare instance that we attempt to repair your console and the repair
procedure is unsuccessful, we will attempt to contact you by either e-mail or
telephone. We will wait for your response for up to 90 days, after which time
we may either donate or otherwise dispose of your broken console, and you will
no longer be eligible for a refund or credit for the repair cost.
- If your Xbox 360 is lost or damaged in transit to our facility, we
will provide a replacement item of equal or greater function and/or value, provided that you have (i) used a shipping label provided by 360 Pros (which
includes insurance) and (ii) packaged
the Xbox 360 in accordance with our Packaging Guidelines.
- Work performed on your video game console may require that we remove any
existing warranty security seals, which may void your warranty with the original
manufacturer (if it is still valid).
- If the same problem occurs within the warranty period and is no longer
repairable, 360 Pros will offer a refund or credit equivalent to the repair
charge (less shipping and handling fees), provided that (i) the problem occurred
within the first thirty days after the initial repair was completed, (ii) the
original warranty is still valid, and (iii) 360 Pros is able to confirm that a
problem still exists, whether by physical inspection or through an authorized
agent.
- If customer sends a console in for repair or replacement under warranty and it is determined that (i) the issue differs from the original issue reported, (ii) there is no issue with console, (iii) issue is not reproducable, or (iv) console has been damaged or otherwise tampered with, we reserve the right to charge customer a reasonable fee for shipping and handling.
